Overview:
Gem City is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Podcast Editor to join our team on a contract basis. This role is perfect for a student or early-career professional looking to gain hands-on experience in digital media and podcast production. As a Video Podcast Editor, you will be responsible for editing four-six video podcasts per week and ensuring their successful uploads to YouTube and various podcast platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Edit four to six video podcasts per week, including trimming, audio balancing, and adding intros/outros.
• Enhance visual and audio quality to ensure professional presentation.
• Collaborate with podcast hosts to ensure content aligns with the brand’s vision.
• Create engaging thumbnails and descriptions for each episode.
• Upload and schedule podcasts on YouTube and podcast channels like Spotify, Apple Podcasts, etc.
• Monitor and optimize content performance based on analytics and feedback, as needed.

Qualifications:

• Experience with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro).
• Basic knowledge of audio editing and enhancement techniques.
• Familiarity with YouTube and podcast platforms.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
